The Role
As a Music Industry Liaison Specialist, you will act as a key point of coordination between artists, collaborators, platforms, and internal teams. This role supports a 360° release workflow, ensuring projects move smoothly from submission to distribution and promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Artist & Project Inquiries: Communicate with artists regarding submissions, features, and collaborations.
A&R & Industry Outreach: Liaise with A&R representatives, labels, and collaborators for pitching and partnerships.
Remix & Collaboration Coordination: Facilitate remix requests and cross-artist collaborations.
Distribution & Playlist Support: Assist with release preparation, DSP delivery, and pitching to curators and playlists.
Design & Assets Coordination: Work with designers to manage cover art and visual assets based on provided briefs.
Agreements & Clearances: Support communication and follow-ups related to contributor approvals and release confirmations.
Social Media & Content Scheduling: Assist in organizing and scheduling promotional posts across platforms.
What We’re Looking For
Solid understanding of music industry workflows, especially releases and digital distribution.
Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms and music marketing basics.
Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Interest in artist development, publishing, and rights-based work.
